HALEY DESIGN

As the founder and principal of Haley Design Company, Tara Coniglio has more than twenty-five years of experience in residential construction, renovation, design, and project management. Collaborating with custom home builders, she creates warm, inviting, and livable spaces while offering attention to detail and exceptional service.

Tara’s passion for construction and design began as a child when she accompanied her father on jobsites for commercial air conditioning and heating systems. She grew up in the industry surrounded by plans and tools, observing the coordination and skill required to bring a project to life. These early experiences shaped her fascination with building and laid the foundation for a career rooted in craftsmanship, collaboration, and thoughtful design.

After earning a B.A in Accounting, Tara began her career at J.M. Haley Corp., where she learned every aspect of the construction business and eventually advanced into the role of Chief Financial Officer. After 15 years with the company, Tara stepped away to raise her family full time. In 2020, she returned with a renewed focus and founded Haley Design Company while earning a degree in Interior Design from Parsons School of Design.

Tara’s greatest joy is her family - one amazing husband, three sweet daughters, and two loyal and lovable dogs. They all happily live in New Canaan, CT.
