Haley Design Co. acts as the essential link between homeowners and builders, taking ownership of the details that can easily fall through the cracks. From finish selections and specifications to communication, coordination, and all the little decisions in between, we keep the project organized and moving forward — with a designer’s eye on every detail, including the job site.
Tara Coniglio
Founder & Principal
With more than 20 years of experience in residential construction, renovation, design, and project management, I bring a uniquely well-rounded perspective to every project.
My passion for construction and design started early. As a child, I often accompanied my father to jobsites, where I grew up surrounded by plans, tools, and the process of bringing a project to life — with a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, collaboration, and thoughtful details
After earning my B.A. in Accounting, I spent 15 years working in the construction industry, gaining firsthand experience in the business and financial side of building. Today, I combine that knowledge with my construction expertise and formal training in interior design to create warm, inviting, and livable homes. My understanding of the building process allows me to collaborate seamlessly with builders, contractors, and homeowners while bringing thoughtful design, attention to detail, and a streamlined approach to every project.
I’m passionate about creating homes that are as beautiful as they are functional, with spaces that feel personal, comfortable, and truly lived in. Based in New Canaan, Connecticut, I’m lucky to share life with my wonderful husband, three sweet daughters, and two adorable dogs.
